A sweeping musical adventure of one woman's quest to discover her identity and her destiny, ANASTASIA concludes its run in the Jeffers Theatre at HCT this Friday and Saturday, December 15th and 16th.
Returning to the stage as the briefly-but-thoroughly maligned Count Leopold is HCT Managing Director John Rambo.
Originally hailing from Loveland, Colorado (Elev. 4982 Ft.), Rambo has been a pillar of the Hickory community and Hickory Community Theatre for 18 years. He received his Associate in Fine Arts degree from Sacramento City College, staying on in the city for several years after to work with the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival. He is a member of the Hickory Rotary Club, and enjoys spending time in the company of his "two furry children", dogs Sheba and Daisy. Rambo previously appeared on stage at HCT in THE GAME'S AFOOT, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, 2010's MACBETH, CABARET, and a Kay Award-winning turn for Outstanding Character Actor in 2007's THE STREETS OF HICKORY. Other performance credits include MOUSETRAP, STICKS & BONES, and WAIT UNTIL DARK in Colorado. He is thankful for the incredibly talented and dedicated people he comes into contact with every day through HCT, and is especially thrilled to be acting opposite co-star Allison Andrews in this production of ANASTASIA.
Performances of ANASTASIA are Friday and Saturday, December 15th & 16th at 7:30PM.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for youth and students.
Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org, or by phone at 828-328-2283. The theatre box office is open from 12-5 PM Wednesday through Friday, or one half-hour before a performance.
ANASTASIA is rated G. All audiences admitted.
ANASTASIA is produced in association with Catawba Valley Health System. The Hickory Community Theatre’s 75th season is sponsored by Paramount Automotive, SunBelt Xpress and Green Park Dentistry. HCT is a funded affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County.
