"I don't like being in the paper, it interferes with me job." Inspector Fry is here to keep order…

when he’s not adding to the chaos.

HANGMEN runs November 7–22 in the Firemen’s Kitchen.

Paul Kelley joins the HANGMEN cast as Inspector Fry, the quick-witted investigator whose fondness for drink rivals his zeal for questioning suspects. A Mooresville-based sales professional, Paul has been in the Hickory area for just a year but already feels right at home among what he calls “awesome shows and incredible talent.” He holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from Valdosta State University and brings extensive stage experience from across the Southeast.

His past credits include The Crucible (Samuel Parris, Post Mortem Players), The Minutes (Mr. Hanratty, Davidson Community Players), Angel Street (Jack Manningham, Lakes Region Theatre), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Hero, Western Illinois Summer Theatre), The Wind in the Willows (Chief Weasel, Western Illinois Summer Theatre), and Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince, Valdosta State University Theatre).

“I love British humor,” Paul says, “and playing an English inspector who loves to drink.” With that mix of charm and cheek, he fits right in at Harry Wade’s pub.

Performances of HANGMEN are November 7-22; Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:30pm and Thursday, November 20 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for students. The $12 price is also valid for youth, but this show is considered suitable for ages 18 and up. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets online or call the box office at 828-328-2283.
