Heaven On Their Mind: Meet JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR Ensemble member Corina Childs

What's the buzz? Over 50 years since it was first performed, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR continues to dazzle. Set in the last week of his life, the iconic rock opera explores the struggles between Jesus Christ, his followers, and the powers that be. It concludes its run at HCT this weekend, April 17th-19th.

Returning to the Pamela Livingstone Stage in this production is Ensemble member Corina Childs.

A Charlotte resident, Childs made her Hickory Community Theatre debut as Nina in IN THE HEIGHTS. Other area credits include PUFFS, RENT, and BYE BYE BIRDIE with Piedmont Players Theater, POTUS with Firepit Theatre Company, and THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE with Central Piedmont Arts. Childs has also been a Resident Touring Actor with the Children's Theatre of Charlotte. As with her appearance in IN THE HEIGHTS, Childs is delighted to be sharing the stage and theatrical experience with her fiancé, Daniel Keith.

Performances of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 17th through April 19th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for youth and students.

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is rated PG-13. Some material may not be appropriate for children under 13.
