Heaven On Their Mind: Meet JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR Ensemble member Sarah Hefner

Filled with song and spectacle, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's hit musical JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR examines the passion, perils, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ's final days. It finishes its run in the at HCT this weekend, April 17th-19th.

It's been a minute, but returning to the Jeffers Theatre is Ensemble member Sarah Hefner. A dialysis nurse at Frye Regional Medical Center who is currently on sabbatical, Hefner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Exercise Science, and enjoys painting, reading, and hiking.

Hefner previously appeared at HCT in EVITA, and also worked with Beanstalk Community Theatre on BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. She is thrilled to be back at HCT for this production.

"JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is one of my favorite shows of all time! It’s rock and roll, telling a moving story! I love that I get to sing a lot of the songs and become more confident in my dance skills as we go! I love all the friends I make doing shows here, and having a common artistic goal."

Performances of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 17th through April 19th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for youth and students.

Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org, or by phone at 828-328-2283. The theatre box office is open from 12-5 PM Wednesday through Friday, or one half-hour before a performance.

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is rated PG-13. Some material may not be appropriate for children under 13.
