Pure Imagination: Jennifer Riddle is Grandma Josephine in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

A scrumdiddlyumptious new musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic novel, featuring original music and songs from the 1971 film, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY plays in the Jeffers Theatre at HCT December 6th through December 14th.

Making her Hickory Community Theatre debut as Grandma Josephine and an Ensemble member, is Jennifer Riddle. A resident of Lenoir and self-employed business owner, Riddle holds an Associate of Arts degree from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. She enjoys crafting, sewing, quilting, and being a mom to her two children.

Riddle appreciates the warm welcome she's gotten in her HCT debut in such a memorable production and story. "It's a fun show and I love the dark twist. And who doesn't like fudge?"

Performances of CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY are Fridays and Saturdays, December 6th through December 14th at 7:30PM; Sunday, December 8th at 2:30PM, and, Thursday, December 12th at 7:30PM. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for youth and students.

Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org, or by phone at 828-328-2283. The theatre box office is open from 12-5 PM Wednesday through Friday, or one half-hour before a performance.
