Where There's A Will: Angel Rojas plays Isaac Jaggard/Boy Hamlet in THE BOOK OF WILL

"Let's finish it, shall we?"

It is London, 1619, and one-by-one members of the King's Men theatre troupe are shuffling off this mortal coil. It's up to those left behind to preserve the words, wit and wisdom of William Shakespeare for future generations.

A heartfelt, joyous ode to Shakespeare's legacy and those who made it possible, Lauren Gunderson's historical dramatic comedy THE BOOK WILL plays in the Firemen's Kitchen at HCT March 7th through March 15th.

Returning to the Firemen's Kitchen, as First Folio publisher scion Isaac Jaggard, is Kay Award-winner Angel Rojas.

A resident of Conover, Rojas can often be found serving up lots of laughs and lattes at Starbucks. He is pursuing studies in computer science at Catawba Valley Community College, and enjoys film-making, writing, and video games when not working of performing on stage. Rojas made an unforgettable HCT debut as Golden Thunder in AIRNESS, for which he received a Kay Award for Outstanding Newcomer. He has gone on to appear as an Ensemble member for IN THE HEIGHTS, an Oompa Loompa in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, and most recently as Isom in HOT WING KING.

"I love auditioning," says Rojas. "Tackling new shows is fun." Indeed, Rojas was just leaving a rehearsal for HOT WING KING when he took a chance on auditions for THE BOOK OF WILL. The rest, as they say, is history in the making.

Performances of THE BOOK OF WILL are Fridays and Saturdays, March 7th through March 14th at 7:30 PM; Saturday, March 15th at 2:30PM; Sunday, March 9th at 2:30 PM; and, Thursday, March 13th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for youth and students.

PLEASE NOTE: The show on Saturday, March 8th is SOLD OUT.
