THE PIRATE QUEEN, a rousing musical adventure based on legendary Irish pirate Grace O'Malley, plays at Hickory Community Theatre June 3rd-18th.
Making a dashing HCT debut as Tiernan in this production is Bradley Langan.
A native of Charlotte, Langan's artistic journey started in such productions as FOOTLOOSE and THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE for the Carolina Broadway Theatre Company. He also appeared in GRIMM'S FAIRY TALES and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM for the Montford Park Players.
Since relocating to Hickory with his family in 2015, Langan has trained at Clater-Kaye Theatreworks and received a BFA from the AMDA College of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles. He recently appeared in 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL at The Green Room Community Theatre.
On the appeal of THE PIRATE QUEEN to him, Langan says: "Tiernan seemed like a good fit for me." As a fan of gaming—including chess, Texas Hold'em, and Dungeons & Dragons—Langan can certainly appreciate his character's earnest blend of smarts, skill, and a dollop of daring-do.
